Project Support: Annette Jowers - Roof Repair and Replacement

Annnette Jowers husband, prior to his passing, submitted a project request for his home in Bertram. Sadly we did not make it to their home until after his passing. When we met with Ms. Jowers and her daughter and shared that her late husband had submitted the request, she was moved and overwhelmed with emotion that even as his health diminished he thought of his family and their needs. We walked around their home, prayed with them, laughed with them, and cried with them. We discovered many holes in the roof allowing access for raccoons to setup residence in the attic making quite the unhealthy mess! There is severe water damage on the ceiling in many areas, and that is just the roof! There are electrical outlets burned, holes in the walls leading to the exterior. The Jowers are humble, sweet, and grateful women who take pride in their home. We are so thankful the Lord brought CR into their lives and we are so grateful for our ministry partners, like Birdcreek Roofing, who will be serving alongside us to restore safety, health, and comfort to this home. Mr. and Mrs. Jowers built this home together with their own hands, Mrs. Jowers is afraid the city will condemn it. Our prayer, and theirs, is that we will be able to make her house a home where she and her six daughters and sixteen grandchildren can gather together and celebrate life journeys for many more years. Your generous donation will open up opportunities for the appropriate skilled tradesmen to be in place to effectively and efficiently replace the Jowers roof in a manner that will be representative of the Lords call to do everything with excellence... as we always strive to do!!
