Project Support - Vancien

Vancien in Liberty Hill was lucky that her house was not flooded in July when the water reached her doorstep, but the rest of her property was swept down the creek.  Vancien is a strong and independent DIYer herself, but suffers from some health issues and doesn't have the physical ability to retrieve the destroyed remnants of her greenhouse, tool shed, and landscaping.  She speaks of so many others that lost much more than her, yet is in despair, not able to put her own property back together.  She often speaks of the joy she derived from her backyard gardening and things she would build in her shed. Much of that is now gone.  This is truly an opportunity to witness the love of Christ to her, and how Christ's body is commanded to help those in need.  We will need a lot of hands and strong backs.  We need people that have love in their heart to meet her where she is, and remind her that she can have hope in the almighty God.
