Project Support: Cherokee and Family
We learned about the need to assist Cherokee and her family at their ranch from Operation Liberty Hill. During the July 4th rains and flooding, Cherokee's mom's house took in 18 - 24" of water, leaving behind a muddy mess. By the time we arrived to meet with them, Cherokee, along with family and friends, had mucked out most of the home but was exhausted and feeling overwhelmed. The arena and two of the pastures where the cattle lived were devastating. A lot of debris, trees down, cattle missing, equipment turned over or swept into different areas, it was a LOT! A team of almost 200 volunteers from CR, as well as some from other areas, stepped up and stepped in to make a huge difference. Cherokee said, We were an answer to prayers! Now we need your help - it's time to go back in and make the home and fencing whole again. This will require a lot of supplies. Some have been generously donated, while others will need to be purchased. Your donation will help purchase the supplies needed to make this house a home again and restore fencing for the cattle to be returned to their pastures. Please prayerfully consider donating today!
